Who knew the lumbering hippopotamus sliced so quickly through the water!

While hippos look fat and lazy, and eat predominately plants, they’re fiercely territorial and actually one of the most dangerous animals in the world.  If you want to admire them up close, make sure you’re in a fast boat, like this guy while on safari in Kasana, Botswana.  According to the photog, the hippo was even closer to the boat than it appears in the video.
