Captain “Skeet” Warren has captained all over the world from Portugal to Florida to Panama, and won many prestigious tournaments along the way. However, in 2007 he decided to “settle down” in Flamingo, Costa Rica and became the owner-operator of Bushwacker Sport Fishing, one of the top charter boats in all of Costa Rica.

The fishing is outstanding and in 2013, Capt. Skeet was named the “Top Tagging Captain” in the Pacific Ocean by the Billfish Foundation. Inshore fishing offers variety, with roosterfish, dorado, cubera snapper, small tuna, wahoo and amberjack. Offshore, the focus is on billfish including blue and black marlin and sailfish, with plenty of big dorado and tuna for the dinner table.

The Bushwacker is a 42’ Bertram that Capt. Skeet keeps immaculately maintained and stocked with the best gear, electronics and safety equipment. He is a perfectionist and a serious, professional fisherman… but that doesn’t obscure his sense of humor which makes the charter as fun as it is productive. Fish with Capt.
