Hammerhead Shark vs Fishing Kayak – Who Wins?
Who is the victor in this struggle? Three guys in floating plastic logs or a creature with a battering ram for a head?
Check out these three easygoing guys, out for some fun in a pretty calm ocean. However, the day goes from relaxed to terrifying in a matter of moments. By the way, do kayaks still float with puncture wounds?
One of the greatest things about fishing is the simplicity of it, right? Sure, you can go out and plop down big money on lots of rods and reels, even bigger money on a center console with trip 300s, and all kinds of gear and gadgets intended to help you bring the big one ashore. And no one looks at you like you’re crazy. All’s fair in love and fishing, after all.
But even though the fishing world, like the rest of the world, has gone a bit high-tech, all that rocket science isn’t necessary. If you happen to run across a buddy one day and neither of you happens to have the keys to a big boat, there’s no reason to forego an excursion. You can always go back to a simpler time when you relied on what your dad taught you; you can find your way to the fish with a small vessel and a hunch. All you really need is some kind of boat – even a kayak will do – and a pole with some line.
Oh, and of course…a paddle. To beat the heck out of the hammerhead who wants to attack your tiny boat and you along with it!
