At the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula lies one of the world’s ultimate fishing destinations, Cabo San Lucas. On any given day, hundreds of fishing boats depart the marina and the traveling angler certainly has no shortage of charter options. However, one of the best choices in the marina is an independent boat owned and operated by a Cabo native – Capt. Ramon Hiram Montaño’s Dreamweaver.
Captain Ramon grew up fishing the waters off Cabo and despite his relatively young age, has been a full-time charter captain for 20 years. Ramon has fished around the world but is consistently regarded as one of the best captains in Cabo, with a record to prove it.
Some of the most prestigious offshore tournaments in the world are held in Cabo, and Captain Ramon has won more than his fair share. His long list of tournament successes includes 1st place in the prestigious 2010 Bisbee East Cape Marlin Tournament and 1st place in the 2013 Los Cabos Billfish Tournament (with a 625 lb. Blue Marlin!).
All of this tournament experience ensures that when the vacationing angler books a trip on Ramon, he is fishing with the very best.
