AmberJack offers inshore, nearshore and offshore trips thanks to the amazing diversity of the fishery. Big game fishing offers chances at blue & black marlin, wahoo, sailfish, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and dorado. AmberJack specializes in fly fishing, and you better bring your 12 weight – Sailfish, Giant Trevally, Dorado, and more can be caught, and some more unique species including jobfish and milkfish are readily caught on fly.
Jigging & Popping is also very popular, and in addition to GTs and barracuda, Captain D’Offay can get you on some truly unique species that may not be on your bucket list but should be – red emperor snapper, dogtooth tuna, and a variety of exotic grouper. And yes, amberjack!
The boat is a 21’ Sensation Offshore center console with twin Suzukis and a full complement of electronics. Although AmberJack does cater to serious anglers, they are always more than happy to incorporate family excursions including sightseeing and snorkeling.
Praslin is the 2nd largest island in the Seychelles and is best known its stunning white-sand beaches and the famous Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where visitors can find the rare coco de mer palm and the Seychelles black parrot.
