Panama deserves its reputation as one of the world’s premier fishing destinations, and Cebaco Bay offers one of the most unique and best ways to experience it.  Located on the Southern end of Cebaco Island in northwestern Panama, Cebaco Bay is located in the middle of the virgin blue waters of Panama’s “Tuna Coast”.

This is a “Mothership” Operation and your home when you are there is a converted 110′ Gulf oil rig supply vessel that has been completely refitted with comfortable staterooms and a TV lounge, a full galley and a huge party deck replete with an open bar, hammocks and lounge chairs. The location puts you as close as possible to world famous big game destinations like Hannibal Bank, Aguja Reef, and Isla Montuosa.

Cebaco Bay only hosts one group at a time, up to 8 guests, so you will always receive the undivided attention of the crew and chef, making you feel as if the entire ship is yours!  This also means you get first and last crack at the fishing!  One of the best things about Panama is the incredible variety, and in one trip it isn’t unusual to experience world class fishing for blue and black marlin, yellowfin tuna, inshore bruisers like roosterfish and cubera snapper, and a long list of other bucket list species like broomtail grouper, mullet snapper, jacks, wahoo, mahi, snook and more.

When you return to the Mothership after a great day on one of the three 31’ Betrams, there is no better feeling than swapping fishing stories on the party deck while enjoying a gourmet meal amidst the sounds of howler monkeys and the gentle rocking of the calm Pacific waters.
